Ronnie Hughes is one of the UK's finest trumpeters. Equally at home in a big band or small group.

Nobody knows more about saxophones than Willie Garnet. He is the top saxophone repair man in the country but is also one of the top players who has worked with the greats including Ben Webster and Bob Wilbur. He runs his own big band and also plays with the Charlie Watts Orchestra as well as playing as a featured soloist in smaller groups.

Tommy Whittle is one of Scotland's finest. "Perhaps the most potent and beguiling 'storytellers' of the jazz world have been the great saxophone men.
