    Following the ULEZ boundary changes there are only two direct routes to Brocken Hurst that do not pass through it.

    By car

    Anyone that will incur ULEZ charges and wants to avoid them, should come from the Swanley Interchange (M25/M20/A20/B2173).

    Exit the roundabout onto London Road/B2173. Your sat nav may ask you to take the first left down past Dreams warehouse. Please DO NOT as this road is unsuitable for caravans and motorhomes as it is very narrowAt the 1st roundabout take the 2nd exit onto High Street (B2173), at the 2nd roundabout take the 3rd exit, at the 3rd roundabout take the 1st exit, and at the 4th roundabout take the 3rd exit onto London Road. At the traffic lights by The Bull Beefeater/Premier Inn, turn left onto Hockenden Lane. Just past the right turn into Star Lane the Naturist Foundation grounds, known as Brocken Hurst, will be on your right.

    Exit the roundabout onto London Road/B2173. Your sat nav may ask you to take the first left down past Dreams warehouse. Please DO NOT as this road is unsuitable for caravans and motorhomes as it is very narrowAt the 1st roundabout take the 1st exit to Crockenhill (B258). At the T-junction at the end of the road, turn right to stay on the B258. In approx. 1.3 miles, turn right onto Sheepcote Lane. Follow Sheepcote Lane all the way down to near the junction with Star Lane, approx. 1.5 miles. The Naturist Foundation grounds, known as Brocken Hurst, will be on your left.

    Most other routes will pass through the ULEZ zone and incur charges, with the possible exception of a few local ones.

    By train

    • Trains run directly from London to Swanley or St Mary Cray stations. Mini cabs are available at the station. It takes approx 40 minutes to walk from either station.
    • From Swanley station exit by the left onto Everest Place, then turn right onto St Marys Road. At the roundabout at the end, turn left onto London Road. In approx 1 mile turn left down Hockenden Lane opposite the Premier Inn. The grounds of The Naturist Foundation are by the junction with Star Lane.
    • St Mary Cray is just under 2 miles from The Naturist Foundation and takes approximately 40 minutes to walk via Star Lane. Take care walking this way as the road is narrow in parts and more hazardous with traffic at night. Star Lane is closed to vehicles from the junction with Sweeps Lane to the junction with Sheepcote Lane.
      • Exit the station and turn right onto Station Approach
      • Turn left onto Sevenoaks Way/A224
      • Cross the road safely. Turn right onto Station Road/B258
      • Station Road turns slightly right and become High Street.
      • Turn left onto Star Lane and continue walking uphill, past St Mary Cray Cemetery until you reach the junction with Sheepcote Lane. You will see the grounds of The Naturist Foundation on your right after you’ve passed the farmer’s field.
      • Turn right and the gates are shortly on your right.

    By bus

    • From Orpington High Street (Stop R) : Take 477 towards Bluewater to Waldens Road. Walk heading southeast (approx 8 metres) on Crockenhill Road/B258. Turn left onto Sheepcote Lane. We will be on your left after  approx 0.4 miles.
