VE Day 2025

4 May, 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us on the Events Field (weather permitting) from 1pm to celebrate 80 years since VE Day, the end of World War II. Bring a plate of food to share on tables, just as they did back in 1945.

There will be music and dancing, mostly themed around the sing along songs from the olden days.

If you have any family photos taken during World War II, bring them along and we will be making a display board of them. And if you are feeling patriotic, come in fancy dress of that time in our history!

Open Mic Night – Members Only

Join us in the Pavilion at 8.30pm. Come along and participate, or just sit and listen to an evening of music and much more.

You are welcome to just turn up and either sing, play an instrument, or both. Recite some poetry, a monologue, or tell jokes. Whatever your talent is, come along and entertain.

No pre-recorded tracks at this event – live music only.

If you don’t play an instrument but want to sing, please contact us to make arrangements.

Chit Chat Catch Up Evening – Members Only

Brocken Hurst is open again for the new 2026 season. If you want to catch up with everyone after that long winter, join us at 8.30pm in the Pavilion. The heating will be on, bar will be open, so bring along some snacks and nibbles and spend the evening catching up.
